HELICOPTER TRAINING PROGRAM

K-State at Salina takes pride in being one of the few university flight training programs to offer rotary wing flight training in our new Schweizer 300 CBi helicopter.

Whether you are interested in a few flights, helicopter transition training, or all of your flight certificates in a helicopter, our experienced flight instruction staff has the ability to train according to your needs. 

Our instruction staff consists of several highly experienced military and civilian rotary wing pilots, including pilots who actively fly rotorcraft in industry.

Rotary wing flight training for the following certificates and ratings is available at K-State:

• Private Pilot
• Commercial Pilot
• Instrument Rating
• CFI, CFII
• ATP
