“For 2007, the last full year for which data is available, K-State’s more than 170 direct jobs created 75 additional support positions throughout Saline County and our $6.7 million in direct payroll generated a total of more than $10 million in total economic income for the Salina community,” said Dr. Dennis Kuhlman, dean of K-State at Salina. “Since 2007, the K-State at Salina campus has continued to grow with additional students and faculty.”

The Salina Airport Authority commissions the economic impact report periodically, and K- State participates by submitting economic data for review and analysis by WSU.
