K-STATE AT SALINA, BETHANY STUDENTS TO “TRICK OR TREAT” SO OTHERS CAN EAT

K-State at Salina’s chapter of Phi Delta Theta will once again say, “Trick or Treat” so others can eat.

People living in the area between Magnolia and Centennial and between Schilling and Crawford can expect a knock on the door beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31.

This year Phi Delta Theta will be joined by students from other K-State student organizations and students from Bethany College.

The students will accept donations of canned goods and other non-perishable items. All donated items will go to the Salina Rescue Mission.

“Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat has been part of K-State at Salina’s Phi Delta Theta chapter’s philanthropy efforts for nearly a decade,” said Scott Summers, a junior in computer science technology from Scott City and Phi Delta Theta president. “We always enjoy it because Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat lets us do something positive for the community while bringing students from different organizations on campus together. And this year we get to work with students from Bethany College, which is great.”
