ACADEMIC CURRICULUM

As markets shift and technology advances, technicians must be able to move laterally to other jobs, learn new techniques, and work with new equipment. Students in the mechanical engineering technology programs will be prepared through a balance of study and application of the basic underlying principles of technology, mathematics, and science. Course work helps students develop the ability to use trade and technical literature to solve problems. Computers are heavily integrated into this program for problem solving, data collection, process simulation, optimization, and control.
